OUR STORY
Our Chief Innovation Officers, Aldrin Or and Rayman Gong, PhD, created
C-POLAR™ to defend us against viruses, microorganisms, and pollens.
Prior to the pandemic, Aldrin and Rayman worked on building nano scaffolding for tissue engineering, experimenting with polymers that could control and guide the growth of tissue. Upon the advent of the pandemic, Aldrin and Rayman hypothesized that these polymers could be re-engineered and harnessed in the fight against COVID. The scientists knew that viruses were negatively charged, so they decided to develop a material with a strong positive charge to combat them.
Studies show these positively charged materials not only effectively captured, inactivated, and eradicated viruses and microorganisms, they did so in a very short time – without the use of external energy, metallic ions, or toxic compounds.
Aldrin and Rayman called their invention C-POLAR™, short for Cationic Polarization Matrix.
